About the WHO ICTRP

Following the Ministerial Summit on Health Research that took place in Mexico City, Mexico, in November 2004, participants called for the WHO to facilitate the establishment of: "a network of international clinical trials registers to ensure a single point of access and the unambiguous identification of trials".

WHO ICTRP network of registries

The LBCTR mandatory data items comply with the minimum dataset requirements of the World Health Organization, enabling it to apply to become a primary registry in the WHO ICTRP network

Want to register a trial?

In order to fulfil the prospective registration requirement, i.e. obtain registration number (LBCTRN) prior to enrolment of the first participant, we recommend that Lebanese registrants commence the registration process at least three weeks prior to the anticipated recruitment start date. All other registrants should allow substantially longer.
